Jun. 15th, 2014 01:20 amBorn with a weak body and prone to narcolepsy and illness, Narkissos was aptly named.1 Hating the shell he was born into, he spent most of his time buried in ancient texts, attempting to learn how to create a new body - one without the physical limitations of sleep or eating, not prone to illness and aging. He has created countless experiments on human bodies, converting them to dolls, but they have repeatedly lost the initial consciousness that was transplanted into them. These activities have caught the attention of the Gods and are the reason Narkissos was Exalted. Although his motivations are selfish and his experiments have hurt others, the results could greatly benefit others. His goal is to create a body such as this to transplant himself into, making himself into what is, essentially, a living doll.
Born to military parents who died in the line of duty, Narkissos was raised by his grandmother who tried to instill good values into him. Despite her best attempts, Narkissos has a less than pleasant temperament - he is impatient, often rude, cocky and arrogant, and narcissistic. He does, however, how to be polite if the situation calls for it.
Narkissos hates war and given the opportunity, he will do anything it takes to avoid such a conflict. He is not adverse to mass killing if the outcome will prevent extended conflict. He is not, however, a pacifist, by any means. He prefers subterfuge (poisons, sneak attacks, ranged conflict, etc.) to physical conflict because of his weak constitution.
Narkissos’ totem is the spider, specifically the Red And Black M. formosipes - Misumenoides formosipes2. His tell is his eyes, which are now red like the body of the spider. (They were originally a pale blue. He also has black stylized lines that come down from the sides of his eyes.)

Scars: He's tried to detach and reattach body parts with surprising success, causing him to have strange joint-like scars in some places of his body, particularly his wrists and fingers.
He's sickly, so he's short, underweight, pale, and doesn't get out much. That's about to change now that he's been Exalted, but don't expect an amazing physical transformation.
Although he's somewhat narcissistic, his obsession with beauty has led him to some strange habits, including hiding his face with masks and his body in flowing robes.

The pattern of markings on females is variable and the overall color of the body can change between white and yellow dependent on the color of their surroundings. The color pattern for males, which does not change in their lifetime, differs from females in that the four front legs of males are dark brown and the abdomen is gold.
